Letter from Adolphe Voituret to Hugo

Scope and Content

Autograph letter to Hugo containing a poem of the writer's own uneducated composition. Recalling that Hugo had written to Alphonse Petit in 1834 that he was a door never closed and a heart always open, Voituret hopes that Hugo will correct the poem's faults and publish it in L'Avènement.

Voituret is unidentified. He mentions that he is a chef.
