Letter from Kovalsky to Drouet

Scope and Content

Autograph letter to Drouet in which the writer apologizes for not having visited her, and explains that she had to unmask and confound a former lover. She justifies herself by the fact that she cannot let him slander her name, and asks Juliette Drouet to defend her if the man (Louis Mie, 1831-1877, Republican deputy) does it again in front of her.
