Thanks him for his "work on Lunars"; refers to some of his observations as giving "discordant results" - has sent his observation book to the Astronomer Royal to have any errors of transcription rectified; has handed the results to Mr Arrowsmith to be used in the map; his sextant was damaged on board the HMS Frolic so he has been unable to do as requested. Notes that he is to visit Admiral Smythe at Dr Lee's and asks if they could meet there.
