Benjamin Keasberry (Mount Zion, Singapore) - refers to recent correspondence with William Charles Milne; difficult for one individual to fulfil all the purposes of the mission; testimonies to the value of the boarding school; a convert marked change in his conduct but exposed to trials; the Government have hired the old mission chapel for two years (and repaired and enlarged it) while their place of worship is being built; talk among the 'Scotch community' of providing a house for a presbyterian minister. Could any help be given towards his debt of $500 ?
