Scope and Content

Acknowledges contribution of £15 for the support of a "native teacher" in Africa; explains the practical difficulties in realising their wishes and suggests that the funds be devoted instead to the general objects of the Society; suggests that students at the School be free to write to him with questions; sends a message to the young people; speaks of a young man who travelled for 400 miles with him on an itinerating journey [Sehame?], but of whose death from a malarial fever he later learned; describes commencing a Sunday School at Mabotsa and the fears of the children towards white men.
