'The Rt Rev Bishop J.S.C. Bannerjee. Born in Benares 1874. His father was a converted Brahmin. After nearly twenty years of work as an evangelistic missionary Bishop Bannerjee became Pastor at St Peter's and St Paul's Church, Allahabad, and Canon of All Saints' Cathedral.
