Gottlob Bruckner, Djarjacarta [Jakarta] - explaining his resignation from ministry of the Dutch church to devote himself to conversion of the heathen; also because his view on baptism had changed; the Javanese language unlike Malay and difficult to study because no dictionary exists; he is stationed at Samarang [Semarang]
