William Crook's journal, January - December 1826, describing his missionary activities at Tahiti, and mentioning the illness and death of Mrs Mary Ann Davies [nee Mary Ann Bradley, also Mary Ann Bicknell] various epidemics that occur and the medical treatment given, journeys around Tahiti, plans to send Tahitian Christian teachers to the Marquesas Islands, disputes among the 'natives', the opening of the new chapel at Bogue Town [Taiarapu], and the disreputable behaviour of Mr Jones.
