James Mercer, George Town/Demerara - delays going to Trinidad (advised by J Brownley of Trinidad); but on instruction from LMS will do so; finance; needs of thousands of slaves - Revd Mr Austin (episcopalian) would cooperate.

John Smith, George Town - report; prospect of new chapel at Dochfour.

John Davies, Demerara - now 14 years in the field; death of Mr Holm (former candidate); ill-health; medical certificate; proceeds on furlough.

Richard Elliott, Demerara - reports of progress; subscribers and collections.
