Some prints have the letter "a", "b", "c", or "f" and numbers on their backs. Groups include: first batch of nurses (1937); lepers; wedding group of Henry ?Kale; rowers. People include: "half caste" bride and groom; old man "who has seen [David] Livingstone"; leper named "Tom"; Ba David (medical orderly). Events include: opening ceremony for St Anthony's ?Hall; Bible Society Triple Jubilee Sunday at Kawimbe Leper Village. Activities include: demolition of the old church; inter-school sports; baby-welfare; mother bottle feeding a baby; boy carrying bricks; orderly giving injection to leper; handing out weekly meat rations; gathering after a Sunday morning service. Other places and buildings include: Leper settlement chapel; ?Twambo; annexe at Kawimbe. Also includes: "ear ornaments" [jewelry]; cows.
