Scope and Content

The black and white photographs which form this collection were taken by John Turner, whilst a student at Hull University. The photographs are of various streets in Hull and feature many of the people he met during his excursions. The photographs were taken on 15 rolls of 35mm film, with each roll being identified by a different letter.

John Turner was a student at Hull University and graduated with a physics degree in 1961.
