Draft of a letter by Millie Howes, to a newspaper editor concerning comments of a correspondent to the paper who questioned the "pedigree" of the sketch The Devil Bird. Says the sketch, written by Frederick Bowyer with music by John Baker, was purchased by her from Mr Bowyer in 1886 and is her sole property.
