Dull blue/green corded silk embroidered at each end. Thought to be by Ann Macbeth (the use of these particular strong shades of magenta and turquoise are distinctive of Macbeth's work at this time).

Physical Characteristics and/or Technical Requirements
Embroidered with floss silk threads in shades of turquoise, magenta, rose pink, yellow, grey, cream and white using satin and running stitches with couched gold thread, in stylised rose and lily motifs. The ends are trimmed with a fringe of silk ribbons and milky white glass beads (five on each end)
