EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Anne Evans, Anthony Carroll and Edward Owen all of parish Holyhead in the case v. John Williams accused of stealing a ham of the value of £1.0s.10d., the property of A.E. Deponent A.E. states that she saw William Wathen in the vicinity of her pork shop. A.C. states that the prisoner came into his public house and sold him a ham, accompanied by W.W.

Attached: Statement of Accused: He says he was asked by W.W. to sell a ham for him which was hidden in the churchyard between two graves. They went to numerous addresses in Holyhead offering the ham for sale and eventually sold it to A.C. for 5/-. W.W. took the money and treated them them all out of it.
