EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Margaret Williams and Owen Evans, police officer, both of Holyhead, in the case v. Christopher Butler aged 12 years, accused of stealing two knives of the value of 2/-, property of John Jones. M.W. days she saw three boys in her master's shop lift a glass case and touch the knives. When apprehended C.B. had two knives in his pocket. He admitted the charge.

Imprisoned in Beaumaris House of Correction for twenty-four hours hard labour.
