EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Ann Jones of Bodgedwydd, servant and Owen Hughes, police constable, both in parish Aberffraw in the case v. John Roberts accused of stealing a loaf of bread of the value of 1/-, property of William Jones. A.J. says she went to fetch water from the well leaving a loaf on the table and returned to find it gone. Deponent O.H. states that when searched the accused had 3/3d/ on his person.

Imprisoned in Beaumaris House of Correction for one months hard labour.
