EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Thomas Roberts of Clogwyn, parish Newborough, labourer and James Williams of Malltraeth Yard, police sergeant in the case v. Robert Jones accused of stealing a pair of boots, value 4/-, property of T.R. Deponent says he asked the landlady of the White Horse, Llangaffo if he could leave his pack of clothes in her kitchen while he went to a neighbouring farm to seek work. On his return the boots were missing. The accused was seen near the clothes.

1) Examination and Deposition dated 26 December 1863, as above.

2) Charge Sheet of R.J. in the above, to whom he pleads guilty.

3) Summary Conviction of R.J. at menai Bridge.

Imprisoned in Beaumaris House of Correction for one month.
