EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Owen William McNally, hawker, and Thomas McNally [his son] both of Brynsiencyn, parish Llanidan, Rees Williams of the Lockup House, Brynsiencyn, police constable, Margaret Rawlinson of 39 Baker Street, Holyhead, lodging-house keeper and Richard Thomas of Pencraig, parish, Llanynghenedi, farmer, in the case v. Bridget Reilly accused of stealling a gold watch, property of Q.W.M. Deponent state that the accused was in Q.W.M's house with his daughter, who is in gaol conviction of stealing items of his clothing on the same occasion. The accused offered the watch for sale in Holyhead and eventually a man sold it for her for 5/- to R.T., who gave it to a little boy.

Attached: Statement of Accused: She says McNally's daughter gave her the watch. It is the first time she has done anything like this and hopes it will be her last.
