Scope and Content

Mainly letters received from friends and acquaintances, some annotated, and a limited number of the copies of those sent by Miss Browne in response, relating primarily to her suffragette activities and in particular tending the grave and memorial tablet of Emily Wilding Davison in Morpeth, Northumberland as well as her involvement in other societies and causes, such as the Suffragette Fellowship, Lord Pethick Lawrence Memorial Fund, the South African War Veterans' Association, Trade Union, Labour, Co-operative-Democratic History Society and the Old Age Pensions Association.
