A large folio volume of pasted in satirical cartoons relating to South Australia. The cartoons are titled at the top 'Portonian', and have captions below the image. Many of the pictures are numbered and dated. The volume includes a satirical annual diary with a cartoon in the centre, 4 December 1875, and a plan of the city of Adelaide 'compiled and published by the proprietors, Frearson and Brother, Adelaide, 1874', which was a supplement to the 'Portonian', 13 March 1875. The volume is accompanied by a note describing its contents.
