Includes correspondence between Pontecorvo, J J P Deverill of the Royal Society and Professor Armen Takhtajan of the Academy of Science of the USSR. Pontecorvo explained that his field work was as important to him as visiting Institutes and, as it has not been included in the schedule for the trip, he would have to cancel.
