- Physical Description1 vol. (169 ff.) Four leaves following the second fly-leaf have been removed, leaving stubs. Ff.33v-169v are blank. Three loose scraps of notes inserted. Attached at end are two leaves from a printed book, containing a calendar for 1843, a list of London bankers, and a list of stamps. Also inserted are 4 uncut leaves (pp.337-44) of a printed work, containing 3 mathematical tables and an index. Volume bound in half-leather with marbled boards. Signature of Henry R. Procter, dated 7.12.1916, appears on first fly-leaf, but the remainder of the volume is in another hand.

The Leather Industries Department of the Yorkshire College, Leeds, was established in 1891. The College, founded in 1874, became the University of Leeds in 1904.
