From Richard Williams to Mary Tooth. His regards should be passed to dear Mary Fletcher with the request that they be remembered in her prayers. He has not got the time to explain what they are doing, but is very desirous that they should get over their difficulties before Sunday.

The work is 'quite at a stand - I mean as bringing in any profit to Mr Roynd[?] and the expense upon it being large - W[illia]m Smith being hurt has added to my burden as we drive it on night and day. I am at it all nights and part of days ...' He prays that they may get the work done so as to have the Sabbath Day free.

Williams' wife is still unwell
