Letter

Scope and Content

From [[Martha] Gregson's house] Saham[?] near Wotton, Norfolk, to Mary Tooth at Madeley. This letter is to inform Tooth that they will be detained at home a little while longer. They will write again from Birmingham where they intend to stop for a day or two.

Boyce is still unwell. A short time ago Boyce and their dear friend [Martha] Gregson were invited to preach in a neighbouring circuit and hold a love feast which they did. The Lord was present and many souls were blessed, but she exerted herself too much and developed a swelling in the throat which has caused her a great deal of pain. It is now better. She preached again with Gregson last Sunday. Spiritual matters are discussed in detail.

Gregson sends her love to Tooth and her sister.
