Letter

Scope and Content

From John Radford in Shrewsbury to Mary Fletcher. The few lines that he has received from Mary Tooth have met with his prompt attention. Mr Eddowes has given him a receipt for the £1.6s which she will find enclosed. Eddowes 'knew not exactly how the money was due, but supposing that you must have paid it for the London office, he received it as such and will write to the office in London immediately and inform them of the receipt of the same.'

[John] Simpson will stay with Fletcher on Monday next and go on to Breckbury on Tuesday 'agreeable to your wish.'

There has been much peace and unanimity in the District meeting where 'all things have been settled amicably.'

Reference is made to Mr Wright.
