Scope and Content

From Cam near Dursley. Holloway did not accompany her daughter to Meriden [school], or she would have certainly called on Tooth.

Tooth's kind invitation [to visit] is a great honour, but Holloway cannot unfortunately accept. She does however have a strong wish that her daughter should spend some time with Tooth. The girl is at the age where she can receive 'permanent impression' and this year has been set aside for 'serious acquisition'.

If Tooth could find it convenient to accept Hollway's daughter [Sarah] under her roof during the school 'occupation' in June, she would be most grateful.

Spiritual matters are discussed in detail.
