Scope and Content

From John Wooding in Salop to Mary Tooth in Madeley. His last visit to Broseley, Coalbrookdale and Madeley was a blessing to his soul. He also had the honour of standing up to speak in 'some of those places where I found my own soul watered, and a few enjoyed some small drops of the shower, moreover as you were so kind as to give me an invitation to come again, my intention is ... to come down on Sunday week, which will be five weeks from the time I was down before.'

His respects should be passed to Mr [Thomas] Cooper - if there are any places that he wants Wooding to supply [ie preach at] during his visit, he would be very willing to do so. He would like, if possible, to be at Madeley on the Monday. Wooding is keen to gain the consent of the preachers to his activities as he does not wish to break any rules by preaching in another circuit without the necessary permissions.
