Catalogue of his collection of termites, numbered 1 to 578, entries dated 1894-1895. Inserted there are a few lettrs by Haviland relating to the collection.

Administrative / Biographical History

George Darby Haviland (1857-1901) developed a special interest in termites. He published observations on these insects with descriptions of new species in the Journal of the Linnean Society, vol. 26 (1898), pp. 358-442.

Manuscripts can be consulted on appointment only. The Museum of Zoology is open Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 17:00 pm. Access and reproduction is at the discretion of the Archivist.
