Papers of the Ladies Club comprising official administrative and financial records, member lists, papers concerning activities and outings and miscellaneous records of financial transactions, including receipt books, cheque book stubs, miscellaneous receipt slips.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Exeter University Ladies club was founded in the 1970s[?] as a social club. Membership was open to all women connected with the University of Exeter with the exception of undergraduates. The club organised excursions and outings to theatre, musical performances and talks, including cheese and wine parties and guest speakers for its members. It also included a 'keep fit' club. The club was disbanded in 2006.
