Administrative / Biographical History
The York City Rowing Club was founded in 1863 and continues today with a membership base of over 200.
The club works with rowers of all ages and abilities, has a clubhouse on the River Ouse and owns its own boats. It also hosts Regattas and other events.
Material is available subject to the usual terms and conditions of access to Archives and Local History collections.
