Letter from Lord Loreburn [Robert Threshie Reid, Earl Loreburn (1846-1923), lord chancellor] expressing his admiration for Scott’s attitude to the threat of war. Loreburn informs Scott that the majority of the Cabinet members are against British intervention in war, and conveys his belief that Parliament should continue its discussions.
