Scope and Content

Rodger states that "we must look upon society as being the patient...by treating society as the "sick man" we might be able to prevent some of the illnesses that are on the increase" and explains that tackling the social causes of mental illness is a "very young subject".Covers the role of the obstetrician, parental attitudes, nursery schools, school and marriage guidance.

Annotated "class exam 9th Dec 12 noon, Hunter Hall East". Also references a paper published in 1951 so this lecture must have been given after that, maybe some time in the early 1950s.
