COMMENTS: 1 mortgages the above to 2.

The deed has the following endorsement, dated 23 Oct 1723:

John (II), Earl of Anglesey is dead, and his debts paid. Party 3 above therefore return the mortgage to his heir Arthur (III), Earl of Anglesey.

This deed is almost certainly related to a dispute concerning the payment of legacies under the will of John (II)'s brother James (IV). On this, see further E6/1/8L/7-8 above.
