The Esom family bought up several pieces
of land in Eydon, which were eventually
sold in 1757 and 1766. The later history
of the land sold in 1757 may be found in
10D below; the remaining deeds here
concern the rest of the land.
The portion of the land was sold by the
Esom family to Joseph Russell in 1766.
Russell bought other property at Eydon,
which are listed in 7D and 8D, and he
then sold all his lands in 1791 to
Francis Annesley (VIII). The history of
this particular property after 1766 up
to 1791 may be found at 9D.
Other deeds concerning the Esom family
are in SL18 (the Aplin and hunt papers).
