ARCHITECTURAL PLANS OF HOUSE AND METHODIST CHURCH AT TODMORDEN, YORKS.

Scope and Content

These extensive plans of the house and

church at Todmorden have no apparent

links with the Annesleys, and were

probably mixed up with the main

collection in error.

It seems, however, that these plans were

used in a Chancery case between Miss

Betty Mitchell and Miss Ann Mitchell

(the owners of the house), plaintiffs,

and John Blackburn and others,

defendants. It is not known what this

case was about, but it may have been to

do with the plaintiffs protesting about

the new church.
