This records a case between Robert
Viner, Esq. and Robert Snell (executors
of Thomas Vinor, Esq., himself the
executor of Sir Robert Vinor, Alderman
of London), Plaintiffs, and Arthur
(III), Earl of Anglesey, Charles
Annesye, Esq., William Phipps, Esq. and
his wife Catherine (nee Annesley), and
the Hon. Thomas Coot, Esq., Defendants.
The case concerns two sums of £8000 and
£2000, borrowed by Arthur (I), the first
Earl of Anglesey from Sir Robert Vinor
and Thomas Leigh respectively, and which
had still not been repaid. The court
decided that the defendants had to repay
the money.
