EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Ellen Thomas of Minffordd, spinster, Enoch Williams, and Richard Parry, Police officers all of parish Holyhead, in the case v. Thomas Phillip Jones and Thomas Roberts, for stealing two sovereigns and some silver and three silk handkerchiefs, the property of Richard Owen. Deponents states R.O.'s house was broken into and various monies were stolen along with handkerchiefs which were marked with the letters 'A.J.' on the corners. Deponent R.P. states he apprehended the accused T.P.J. near Llanfairpwll station. Deponent E.W. states he found two of the handkerchiefs in a small box in the bedroom of the accused T.R. in Florence Street.
