EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Brian Higgins of parish Holyhead, railway police constable, and John Stretton of Bangor, Co. Carnarvon, railway police inspector, in the case v. Bridget Burke, for stealing thirty four pounds weight of coals, the property of the London and North Western Railway Company. Deponent B.H. states he followed the accused from a railway wagon on the pier at Holyhead and when challenged she dropped a coal from her apron.

i) Statement of Accused: 'I wish to be tried here before the justices present.'

ii) Summary Conviction of B.B. at the Valley Hotel, for stealing coal, the property of the L.N.W.R.Co.

Imprisoned in the common gaol for twenty one days.
