EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Owen Owens, corn merchant, Richard Lewis Pany, surgeon, and John Williams, police officer, all of parish Amlwch in the case v. Samuel Jones, for stealing a harness, the property of O.O. Deponent states he lost a harness one night from his gig in the yard of his mill.Deponent R.L.P. states the accused sold him the harness for 10/- and a quart of ale.Deponent J.W. states on hearing that O.O. had lost a harness and R.L.P. had bought one, went to R.L.P.'s yard, where O.O. identified it as his property.

i) Statement of Accused: S.J. (Pleads Guilty).

ii) Summary Conviction of S.J. at the Valley Hotel, for stealing. Imprisoned in Beaumaris House of Correction for one months hard labour.
