EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Thomas Hughes, John Evans of Pensarn, shoemakers, Richard Ellis, police constable of Amlwch, John Williams, shoemaker and Jane Carter, both of Llangefni, in the case v. Henry Barber, accused of breaking and entering and stealing three pairs of boots, the property of T.H. Deponent T.H. states his workshop was broken into and several pairs of boots and shoes stolen. The accused was after around the workshop, sheltering from the rain but was not seen after the theft.

Attached: Statement of Accused: 'I have never seen either of the shoes produced here till today.'
