EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: William Thomas, joiner, Owen Thomas, labourer, both of Merddyn Poeth, Ellen Williams, of Mill Street, widow, and Henry Amos and Enoch Williams, both police officers, in the case v. Thomas Phillip Jones, for stealing a hand saw and woollen frock and a waistcoat, the property of O.T. Deponent W.T. states his workshop was broken into one night and a handsaw was stolen and some itmes of clothing taken also. Deponent H.A. states he found the items under the accuseds bed and in a chest, which he had to force open.
