EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Margaret Prytherch, widow, John Parry, and Thomas Jones all of Green, parish Llanfigael in the case v. John Owen for stealing a quart of milk, the property of Henry Prytherch. Deponent M.P. suspected some one was taking milk from her herd of cows., and instructed T.P. and T.J. to watch over them at night, the accused was caught milking one of them.

i) Statement of Accused: 'I prefer the matter should be tried here before the magistrates.'

ii) Summary Conviction of T.O. at the Valley Hotel for stealing.

Imprisoned in Beaumaris House of Correction for three months hard labour.
