      Generally sound. There are some signs of fraying on both front and back of the dress due to wear and tear and small holes at the back. Loose fabric at some parts of the decorative belt and loose stitches at the hem.

Scope and Content

A short gold lame, Empire-style pleated dress worn in 'L'Apres-midi d'un faune'. The dress features a round neckline, is unlined, and is decorated with a hand-stitched brocade belt which fastens at the back with hooks and eyes. The trim of the hem is decorated with a hand-stitched strand of beads which makes it heavier.
