Scope and Content

Two piano reduction and parts for William Walton's 'Façade' suite number 1 and suite number 2. Scores for suite number 1 only.

Façade, suite number 1 (i. Polka, ii. Valse, iii. Swiss yodelling song, iv. Tango - pasodoble, v. Tarantella, sevillana).

Façade, suite number 2 (i. Fanfare, ii. Scotch rhapsody, iii. Country dance, iv. Noche espagnole, v. Popular song, vi. Old Sir Faulk - Foxtrot).

The numbers as danced in the original production are; 'Fanfare', 'Scotch Rhapsody', 'Jodelling Song', 'Polka', 'Valse', 'Popular Song', 'Tango-Pasodoble', 'Finale – Tarantella Sevillana'. 'Country Dance' was added in 1935, 'Noche espagnola' and 'Foxtrot' in 1940.
