Scope and Content

Banner and pole (Pole attached, varnished wood dowel), cream satin weave cotton (?) possibly sized (?) ground, cream satin weave cotton (?) narrow undyed cotton (?) tape stitched to lower edge of lining (part of hanging mechanism) lining, design: the words 'THE WHITE HORSE' are stencilled in black directly onto cotton (?), blue stencilled border, a disc of card displaying a printed image of a horse is adhered directly to the cotton ground above the word 'THE', lower edge trimmed with coarse blue wool (?) bullion fringe, pole sleeve in combination with cord, blue cord attached to pole, a narrow cotton tape is threaded through pole sleeve and tied to pole hanging mechanism.
