Collections of printed and written papers of the 18th and 19th centuries made by Rev. Philip Bliss, comprising:

  • letters, notes (chiefly biographical), printers' proposals, etc.
  • papers relating to University business, including agenda for Congregation, lists of delegates of privileges and of regent masters, supplicants etc., 1836-53.

Administrative / Biographical History

Rev. Philip Bliss (1742-1803) was Rector of Dodington and Frampton Cotterell in Gloucestershire.
