The Docks were more commonly known as the 'Boat Yard'. They carried out repairs and general maintenance and there was a place for yachts to be moored. A Marina has been built since this photograph was taken.
There is a report on page 12 of the North Wales Weekly News of 26 June 1987 about the plans for a new Marina.
