Scope and Content

During the 16-17th centuries the building was a Court of Sessions. During the 18th century it was a farmhouse, at which time the west gable was rebuilt. Today, the building is used as Tea Rooms and is owned by the National Trust. At the time of the photograph it was run by Mr. and Mrs. Holt.
