Asks for news of all his friends in Cambridge, notes that 'Roscoe is not very well. His poem has been taken slight notice of in Drakard';s Sunday Paper.' Gives news of his acquaintances in London, including Herschel, Hegg and Newmarch, who 'is as fat as a porpoise.'
