Whittaker thanks his mother for sending his box, but forgetting the key. Mrs. Wilkinson provided a spare key. He prefers Mrs. Wilkinson to Mr. Hamilton and intends to write his grandmamma shortly. He requests that various items be sent, and discusses his current readings. He has many companions, and enjoys his exercises. He will not require the dictionary he requested earlier that his mother also forgot to send.
ALS from Whittaker to his mother.
